Summary: As part of her Farewell to the British Isles' tour the QE2 will berth off Edinburgh/Fife coastline on Tuesday 7th October from 10.00am, leaving the same evening to sail down to Southampton before making her final voyage to New York. She will then continue on to Dubai where she will be de-commissioned and become a floating hotel. Her final journey to Scottish waters will be marked in several ways. 4 jets from RAF Leuchars will make two fly-pasts down the Firth of Forth and over the QE2 beginning at 17.00. Following the flypast a selection of tug boats will perform a series of manoeuvres called "Dancing tugs" while operating water sprays around the QE2. A flotilla of yachts from local yacht clubs will set sail to bid her farewell.br> Venue: Edinburgh/Fife Coastline
